Stable financial performance
PKO Bank Polski generated solid results in the first half of 2023. The Bank Capital Group's net profit amounted to PLN 2,041 million. By more than 20 percent, the bank increased income from its core business and steadily increased the scale of its operations. The Group's assets increased at the end of the first half of the year to PLN 461 billion and the number of clients reached 11.8 million.
Modern solutions for customers
PKO Bank Polski is also a technological leader in the banking sector, setting the tone for change in the market. Its clients can confirm their data using mIDCard when visiting a branch. The bank introduced this solution a few days before the statutory deadline indicated for 1 September, when bank customers will be able to use mIDCard.
The bank continues its digital transformation, developing, among other things, new features for the IKO app and a value-added service offering as part of its VAS HUB technology . The number of active IKO applications at the end of H1 2023 reached 7.6 million and makes PKO Bank Polski the most mobile bank in Poland.
