He was born in 1956 in Żabianka. He was the Member of Sejm of the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th term. In 1980, he graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Warsaw. In 1979-1990, he worked as a mathematics teacher at the Agricultural School Complex in Golądków. He was the Head of the Winnica Commune from 1990 to 1998 and from 1999 to 2005. From 19 February to 31 December 1998, he held the post of the Head of the Ciechanów Commune. 

In 1999-2002, he was a member of the Mazovian Regional Council (elected from the Solidarity Electoral Action list). In 1980-1981, he chaired the committee of the Solidarity Trade Union at the Agricultural School Complex in Golądków. From 1989 to 1992, he was the chairman of the Citizen’s Committee of the Winnica Commune. 

From 7 June 2006 to 16 November 2007, he was the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Government Plenipotentiary for the Formation of the Agricultural System. On 16 November 2015, he was appointed Minister without portfolio in Beata Szydło's government. He also took up the post of the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers. 

From September to December 2016, he served as the Minister of the Treasury. Also in September 2016, he became the Vice-Chairman of the Economic Committee of the Council of Ministers. On 11 December 2017, he assumed the position of Minister without Portfolio in the newly formed government of Mateusz Morawiecki and, once again, became the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers.  Since 2019, he has been the Chairman of the Public Finance Committee. 

From 9 January 2018 to 15 November 2019, he served as the Minister of the Environment. Since 2021, he has been part of Prime Minister Morawiecki's Council of Political Advisors. 

On 26 October 2021, he was appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

Mr Adamczyk has a university degree in economics, specialising in accounting and finance in business management.

He worked at “Prefabet – Krzeszowice” Concrete Manufacturing Plant and then at the Office of the Chief Mechanic of the Chrzanów Fireproof Materials Production Plant. From 1982, he was employed at the Investment Department of the District Supply and Sales in Cooperative in Krzeszowice. Afterwards, from 1984, he worked at a Repair and Construction Plant at the Cooperative in Sanka, near Krzeszowice, first serving as a site manager, then a construction manager, and finally as the manager of the entire Plant.

He is a member of the Małopolska District Chamber of Civil Engineers. Starting from the late 1980s, he co-founded the NSZZ "Solidarity" Civil Committee movement in the western area of what was then the Kraków Voivodeship. Between 1998 and 2005, he was a Councillor of the Kraków County.

He also served as a vice-chairman of the Parliamentary Infrastructure Committee for many years.

Mr Adamczyk has been a member of the Law and Justice Party since autumn of 2001 and is the Head of the Law and Justice structures in the Kraków District. Between November 2015 and January 2018, he was the Minister of Infrastructure and Construction. Appointed Minister of Infrastructure on 9 January 2018, he served in this capacity until 15 November 2019.

On 15 November 2019, he was re-appointed as Minister of Infrastructure.

He graduated from the Faculty of History at the University of Warsaw and completed postgraduate studies in public administration management at the Koźmiński University of Entrepreneurship and Management in Warsaw.

He started his professional career at the Foundation for Polish-German Reconciliation. In 1998, he became Director of the Department of Judicature in the Office of Veterans and Oppressed Persons, where he worked until 2004. He was the Head of the Registry for the Office of the Capital City of Warsaw; later, he served as Deputy Mayor of Warsaw's Śródmieście District.

Between January 2006 and November 2007, Jacek Sasin acted as the First Deputy Voivode of Mazowieckie and later as the Voivode of Mazowieckie.

From December 2007, he had the honour of cooperating very closely with the late President Lech Kaczyński, first as his advisor, and on November 26, 2009, he was appointed Secretary of State and Deputy Chief of the Chancellery of the President of Poland. However, he resigned on July 5, 2010, after the National Electoral Commission had announced the results of the presidential election.

In 2010, Sasin became a councillor of the Mazovian Voivodship Parliament.

In the 2011 parliamentary elections, he was elected as a Member of the 7th term Sejm, where he held the office of Vice-Chairperson of the Local Self-Government and Regional Policy Committee and was a member of the Internal Affairs Committee.

In the 2015 parliamentary elections, he once again obtained the mandate of a Member of the 8th term Sejm. In addition, he served as the Chairperson of the Public Finances Committee and the Standing Subcommittee for the Local Government System and was a member of the Local Government and Regional Policy Committee.

On January 9, 2018, he was appointed the Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers, and later the Secretary of the Council of Ministers.

Between June 4, 2019, and November 15, 2019, he held the office of Deputy Prime Minister.

After the 2019 parliamentary elections, he became a Member of the 9th term Sejm. On November 15, 2019, was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State Assets.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Jadwiga Emilewicz as Government Plenipotentiary for Polish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation and, on the request of the Minister of European Funds and Regional Policy, as the Secretary of State on 15 May 2023.

In 2019-2020, she was a minister in the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s second cabinet as a Minister of Development from 15 November 2019 and, additionally, as the Deputy Prime Minister from 9 April 2020. She is a co-author of the Financial and Anti-Crisis Shield for companies that faced an unprecedented crisis during the Covid-19 pandemic. These solutions helped many Polish entrepreneurs to survive and saved jobs. She was a member of the government until 6 October 2020. Since 2019, she has been an MP and a member of the parliamentary club of the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość party.

Before that, she served as Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology in 2018-2019 and was the undersecretary of state in the Ministry of Development in 2015-2018.

She worked in the Foreign Affairs Department of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister in 1999-2002.

She is a graduate of the Institute of Political Science, Jagiellonian University. She opened her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of International and Political Studies of the Jagiellonian University. She is a recipient of a scholarship from the Oxford University and the American Council on Germany programme, Dräger Foundation, ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius. Since 2003, she has been affiliated with the J. Tischner European University in Krakow.

Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak on October 29, 2020 was appointed the secretary of state at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. From October 26, 2020, she also serves as the Government Plenipotentiary for the preparation of the World City Forum in Katowice in 2022.
Between 29 November 2018 and 15 November 2019, Minister Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak served as the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Investment and Economic Development.

Among other things, she was dealing with the implementation of EU funds for innovation (Smart Growth Programme), digitisation (Digital Poland Programme) and human capital (Knowledge Education Development Programme). She was also responsible for supervising the Accessibility Plus programme; co-authored the Act on Accessibility. She coordinated the implementation of programmes co-financed from Norwegian and Swiss funds.

From the beginning of her career, she has been associated with the local government. For several years, she has been dealing with EU funds, regional development and entrepreneurship support. For 10 years, she worked in the Marshal's Office of the Podkarpackie Province where she went up the entire ladder – from the Inspector to the Director of the Department of Entrepreneurship Support.

Previously employed in the Office of Podkarpackie Province and the Tyczyn Commune and City Office. Artur Soboń is a graduate of the Faculty of Humanities of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (MA’s thesis: Political power in the conservative thought of the Second Republic of Poland) and the Collegium of Business Administration at the Warsaw School of Economics (MA’s thesis: Value building strategy on the example of Lubelski Węgiel Bogdanka). 

He completed postgraduate studies in the field of European projects at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin and in accounting and finance at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. He also completed doctoral studies in economics at the Collegium of Social Sciences of the Warsaw School of Economics. 

Since 2001, he has been associated with the Świdnik City Hall, initially managing the Strategy and Development Department, then since 2006 as the City Secretary. In the years 2006-2010, a poviat councilor and a social board member of the Świdnik district board. In the period 2010-2015, he was a councilor of the Lublin Voivodeship Assembly. 

Since 2015 he has been a Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Poland. As part of his parliamentary activities, he serves as Chairman of the Parliamentary Team for Reindustrialisation of Poland and the Chairman of the Parliamentary Team of Friends of Polish Aviators. From January 9, 2018 to November 14, 2019, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Investment and Economic Development, responsible for, among others, construction and the Eastern Poland Programme 2014-2020. He has received numerous scientific awards. He is awarded the Gold and Silver Cross of Merit, as well as the medal of the 100th anniversary of Independence and the medal of the Commission of National Education. 

A sociologist who works as a researcher at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Resocialization at the Institute of Applied Social Sciences of the University of Warsaw, where he manages the Department of Preventive Functions of Social Policy. 

He is a co-founder and editor-in-chief (2004–2016) of the quarterly “Trzeci Sektor” - a scientific journal devoted to the issues of civil society and non-governmental organizations. He is a member of Laboratorium “Więzi”, as well as a member of the Management Board of the Main Polish Sociological Association and chairman of the Polish Sociological Association’s Social Work Section. 

From 1990 to 2001, he worked in the Chancellery of the Senate of the Republic of Poland as secretary of the Commission for Social Policy, Family and Health in four consecutive parliamentary terms, and from 2002 to 2008, he was the director of the Social Policy Program at the Institute of Public Affairs Foundation.

Ambassador Tomasz Szatkowski (born 10 May 1978) is a graduate in law, with additional postgraduate degrees in national security studies (University of Warsaw) and war studies (King’s College London). He also completed a postgraduate course in intelligence policy (King’s College London), a training course for staff officers (US Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey), as well as a course in defence policy programming and strategic management (Defence Academy of the United Kingdom – Shrivenham). He is a recipient of scholarships from the UK Ministry of Defence (2004), US Department of State (2007), Asmus Policy Entrepreneurs Fellow of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (2013) and participant in the program of the Munich Security Conference Munich Young Leaders (2019). 

Having held senior positions in the Polish administration (the Parliament of the Republic of Poland, Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Ministry of National Defence), defence industry, public media and the European Parliament he has extensive experience in the national security domain, in particular defence and armaments policy, oversight of the special services and public media.  

Before taking up the position of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to NATO, in 2015–2019, he was the deputy minister of national defence responsible among others for international affairs, organization of the NATO Summit in Warsaw in 2016, Strategic Defence Review and negotiations on enhancing the American military presence in Poland. 

He is an author of numerous publications on the aforementioned issues, published both in Poland and abroad. His interests are in the classic military strategy, in particular the relationship between technology and strategy, intelligence strategy, defence economics, as well as problems of coordinating national security policy.

Peter Bátor has worked as diplomat, analyst, policy adviser and speechwriter for two Presidents of Slovakia, ministers, deputy ministers and ambassadors. His diplomatic experience include posting to the Permanent Delegation of Slovakia to NATO in Brussels, where he served as Deputy Permanent Representative and later as Chief Political Adviser to the Slovak Permanent Representative. 

Before his posting to NATO he had served as Director of Cabinet and advisor to Deputy Minister of foreign affairs. He had held different positions at the Slovak Ministry of Defence, including the position of Director of International Crisis Management and Arms Control Division, NATO analyst, and legal adviser (international law). 

Throughout his career, Peter Bátor has focused on foreign and security policy, with special emphasis on NATO, Eastern Flank, Western Balkans and international conflicts. In the recent years, he has also focused on cyber security, and its impacts on security of states and international organizations. He has a short-term field experience from Afghanistan, Iraq and Kosovo. 

In 20 years, he has extensively cooperated with governmental and non-governmental organizations, and academia. He is founder of the first Slovak cyber security web portal and former President of the Slovak George C. Marshall Centre Alumni Association. He holds MA and PhD. in international affairs and diplomacy from Matej Bel University in Slovakia, and graduated a program in Security Studies at George C. Marshall Centre for Security Studies in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany. He speaks English, some German and has passive knowledge of French.  

He is married and father of two. He is a passionate wine enthusiast, less-than-average runner and occasional guitar player. 

 

A graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

He runs a family farm of approx. 120 ha, specializing in dairy production.

Since the mid-1990s, he has been involved in the reactivation of the agricultural self-government in Poland, initially as part of this activity he was elected President of the Płock Chamber of Agriculture, and then - after the administrative reform in 1999 - as a delegate to the National Council of Agricultural Chambers on behalf of the Mazovian Chamber of Agriculture. Since 2003, he has been the President of the Mazowiecka Chamber of Agriculture, and since 2005 he has been the President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers. In 2011-2013, he was the Vice-President of the Copa Committee (Committee of Agricultural Professional Organizations) - an organization associating European farmers. In December 2020, he was appointed to the Council for Agriculture and Rural Areas created by President Andrzej Duda.

Master's degree in agricultural engineering. He graduated from the Technical and Agricultural Academy in Bydgoszcz. 

Democratic opposition activist. In March 1980, detained by the Security Service on charges of opposition activities. During his studies, he was an activist of the Independent Students' Association, chairman of the University Committee of the Independent Students' Association, participant in the strike at the Agricultural University, chairman of the Strike Committee. He was investigated by Department III of the Citizens' Militia provincial headquarters in Bydgoszcz under the high-importance intelligence operation code name Heroina. On 16 December 1981 he was detained at his family home and placed under the surveillance of the Citizens' Militia. 

Farm owner. When the agricultural self-government was reactivated in Poland in 1995, Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski was elected in successive terms as the President of the Toruń Chamber of Agriculture and then the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Chamber of Agriculture. From 2003 to 2007, he headed the agricultural self-government as President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers in Warsaw. 

He worked for the transformation of Polish cooperative societies, organising farmers for joint economic activity. He also co-organized the Farmers' Chaplaincy in the Dioceses of Toruń and Włocławek Member of the Independent Self-Governing Farmers' Union ‘Solidarność’. 

From 1993, in the Polish People's Party – Peasants' Agreement, a Solidarity party competitive to the communist United People's Party. Between 1998 and 2002, he was a member of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship Assembly of the first term as a member of the Solidarity Electoral Action. He was re-elected to the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship Assembly in 2010. 

Member of the Law and Justice Party since 2001. Between 2005 and 2007, he was the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Before his current position, he served for six years as Deputy Director of the State Security Department, the civilian intelligence and security service. He was responsible for technological intelligence disciplines, intelligence analysis, and threat prevention. From 2009 to 2015, Mr Budrys was Advisor to the President of the Republic of Lithuania on intelligence and defence policy. Until 2009, he held leading positions in the field of intelligence analysis. K. Budrys studied at the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University and holds a BA in Political Science and MA in International Relations. He has also had internships at universities in the USA and Canada. 

She has been managing director of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) since 2021. She also served as minister of Economics (2014–2016) and minister of Finance (2016–2019) of the Republic of Latvia. Reizniece-Ozola was elected as a member of the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th Saeima of the Republic of Latvia and worked as the chairperson of the Commission on Education, Culture and Science, Member of the Legal Affairs Commission and Member of the European Affairs Commission. In chess, Reizniece-Ozola was awarded the title of Woman Grandmaster by FIDE in 2001. 

Polish athlete specialized in race walking, winner of four gold medals at Olympic Games and the most successful Polish sportsman in this respect. Currently Eurosport-Warner Bross Discovery expert, public speaker and business mentor and head coach of his club RK Athletics, actively involved in initiatives promoting sport and an active lifestyle. Founder of the Robert Korzeniowski Foundation (2019), which conducts athletics training as the RK Athletics club and deals with education for and through sport. He has held numerous positions related to Polish and global sport over the years. Chairman of the Board of the Active Rehabilitation Foundation and the Sportowa Polska Foundation, member of the IAAF Race Walking Committee and the International Committee of the Polish Olympic Committee, between 1997 and 2004 Ambassador for Tolerance and Fair Play to the Council of Europe, and since 2017 UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador. 

He has been awarded the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (2004), the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (2000), the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (1996), the Sigillum Civis Virtuti of Tarnobrzeg (2001) and the gold medal of the French Ministry of Jeunesse + Sport. 

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, he has been intensively involved in helping that country and working to support it in the sports community. He organised, for example, the March for Ukraine (9.04.2022), involving Polish and Ukrainian athletes and Warsaw residents. A staunch opponent of allowing Russian representatives to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris.

Oleksandr is experienced business developer, having 25+ years experience in industries as Industrial Automation, Engineering & OEM. He started his carrier in Schneider Electric, working in France, Ukraine and Russia, then he was a top manager of big Ukrainian enterprises (as SNPO Sumy), and worked in State Agency of Investment. 

Last 10 years, Oleksandr is dedicated to the development of Civic business organizations in Ukraine. In 2012 he started to develop the Association of Industrial Automation of Ukraine (APPAU) who is leader today in local Industry 4.0-5.0. APPAU unites 60 members and 300+ SMEs in the movement ‘Industry 4.0’. APPAU is the developer of the National strategy 4.0, and implemented 10+ projects in digitalization, innovation, clusterization and standardization of industries. In 2022 APPAU became a co-founder of Ukrainian Cluster Alliance (UCA), and Oleksandr is a CEO of this organization today. UCA unites 60+ Ukrainian industrial clusters (more than 3000 SMEs), it is the first cluster association in Ukraine committed for the development of the clusters at the national level. The UCA mission is to accelerate the clusterization of Ukraine’s economy, make it more integrated into international value chains and more innovative. During war times in Ukraine, UCA focuses on the resilience of value / supply chain in critical industries (food, drug, clothes, dual-use, machinery and infrastructure). 

Dr. Marek Dietl is the CEO of GPW (Warsaw Stock Exchange) and the economic adviser to the President of Poland. He has spent almost 20 years in the consulting and venture capital industries. He collected experience as a non-executive board member of more than 25 organizations. 

 Marek Dietl frequently undertakes community and academic activities. He used to serve as a mediator at the arbitration court of the Financial Supervision Commission and adviser to the President of Energy Regulation Office. Marek Dietl is also an assistant professor at the SGH-Warsaw School of Economics. 

 

Graduate of German and Dutch philology at the University of Wrocław and postgraduate studies at the Polish Institute of International Affairs. He was awarded the Silver Cross of Merit, the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Third Class Ukrainian Order of Merit, awarded for outstanding services to Ukraine. 

From 1988 to 1991, he was employed as a lecturer at his alma mater, in 1991 he started working as a diplomat at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

He was involved in activities relating to Poland’s accession to the European Union and held numerous positions related to Poland’s accession to the EU. He worked at the Polish Mission to the European Union, from 2000 to 2001 he was Deputy Director and then Director of the European Union Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, from 2001 to 2003 – Deputy Representative of Poland to the EU. 

From 2003 to 2008, he was Poland’s permanent representative to the European Union’s Political and Security Committee. He headed Jerzy Buzek’s cabinet when the latter was the President of the European Parliament (2009–2011). Since 2011, he was the Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service, since 2016 the Deputy Director-General of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) of the European Commission and, since 2020, the acting Director-General thereof. He was responsible, for example, for the preparation of the Commission’s opinions on the EU membership of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia and on the topic of reconstruction of Ukraine. Since March 2023, he has been the Director-General for Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (DG ECHO). 

Author of the books Alfabet brukselski (2015), Płonące lustra (2022) and Trudnopis (2023), as well as articles and essays for, inter alia, the Polish newspapers Gazeta Wyborcza and Fakt. 

He is a Director of the Dialogue, Local Government and Development Office of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where he also completed doctoral studies. He has been a local government and national official for years, employed in the City Council of the Capital City of Warsaw and the Ministry of Finances.

The responsibilities of the Undersecretary of State include Economic Cooperation, the United Nations, Asia and the Americas. 

Wojciech Gerwel is a career diplomat. From August 2018, he served as the ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Before taking up the post, he was the first counsellor for strategic analyses at the Department of Foreign Policy Strategy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. Prior to that he was, among other things, head of the Non-European Markets Unit at the MFA’s Department of Economic Cooperation and worked in the area of non-European markets, with a special focus on Africa and the Middle East. From 2007 to 2014, he served as the economic counsellor at the Polish Embassy in Hanoi. 

Before he began his diplomatic career, Wojciech Gerwel worked as an analyst at the Center for European Policy Analysis in Washington, D.C., and cooperated with other Washington think-tanks, including with the Center for Strategic and International Studies (the US-EU-Poland Action Commission project under the supervision of Zbigniew Brzeziński). His professional experience includes consulting services for an association of seven First Nations tribes in Canada (Treaty 8 Tribal Association – Treaty and Aboriginal Rights Research). 

Wojciech Gerwel completed two-year MA studies at Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service (German and European Centre), and BA studies in economy and political science at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver. He also studied at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (a one-year programme in social and international sciences), at Lester B. Pearson United World College in Victoria, Canada, and in the Polish Navy High School no. 3 in Gdynia. 

Politician, local government official. Chairman of the Małopolska Regional Assembly from 2005 to 2006. Secretary of the Nowy Sącz District from 1999 to 2018. President of the Management Board of the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Krakow in 2018. Currently serving as the Marshal of the Małopolska Region, as well as a permanent member of the European Committee of the Regions of the EU, the chairman of the Organisational Committee for the European Games 2023 and a member of the Council for Local Government appointed by the President of the Republic of Poland as part of the National Development Council.

A graduate of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan (political science – European administration and political marketing), the University of Economics in Katowice and the Technical University in Brno (International Management and Finance Studies), as well as the University of Management in Warsaw (Executive Master of Business Administration). 

He is a local government official. A councilor of the City of Olkusz and Municipality in 2006–2014 and 2018–2020, and a councilor of the Olkusz poviat in the years 2014–2018. 

As a district councilor, he was the Chairman of the Budget Committee. During his work in the municipal local government, he was the Chairman of the Municipal Council. He chaired the Education, Culture and Physical Culture Committee and the Rule of Law and Self-Government Committee. 

He is interested in journalism – he was an accredited journalist during the visit of Pope Benedict XVI in Poland, and he also worked and collaborated with several publishing houses. From 2005–2007, he was the spokesman for the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan, at the Europaeum Gneznense Collegium. 

For many years, he combined work in the local government with the function of the Director of the Deputy Office of, Jacek Osuch, Member of Parliament (2007–2015). From 2015 to 2016, he managed the "Komunikacja Międzygminna" Association of Municipalities in Olkusz. 

From 2016–2019 he was the Director of the Regional Branch of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund in Krakow. 

From 2019, he was the Director of the Office and the Director of the General Department at the Marshal's Office of the Malopolska Region. 

From 2019, he was also an appointed a member of the Supervisory Board of Radio Krakow, which he chairs. 

On August 8, 2020, he assumed post of the Malopolska Voivode. 

Graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Rzeszów University of Technology (engineer, specialisation – aircraft structures). 

From 1979 to 1992, he worked at the Research and Development Centre of WSK PZL Mielec as a specialist constructor. From 1992 to 1998, he was president of the MARR SA Regional Development Agency in Mielec. In 1997, he founded the IN-MARR Business Incubator Association in Mielec. 

From 1998 to 2005, he was a councillor of the Podkarpackie Province and a member of the Board (1998–2002) and Deputy Marshall (2001–2002). He dealt with, for example, the programming and implementation of European Union aid programmes. From 2000 to 2003, he was a member and vice-chairman of the steering and monitoring committees of several aid programmes. He was a member of the Supervisory Board of the Industrial Development Agency SA from 2001 to 2003, a Management Board plenipotentiary of the Regional Development Agency MARR SA from 2002 to 2005, and a member of the Regional Steering Committee of the Regional Development Programme from 2004 to 2005. 

In 2005, he was elected to the Senate of the Republic of Poland. He held the seat until May 2013. During this time, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Regional Development from 2005 to 2007, and in the Senate he was, for example, Chairman of the Committee on National Defence and Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Local Self-Government and State Administration. 

On 27 May 2013, the Subcarpathian Voivodeship Sejmik appointed him Marshal, a position he holds to this day. Since 2016, he has been a member of the European Committee of the Regions. From 2020 to 2022, he was chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the Committee of the Regions and is now its vice-chairman. 

He also serves as vice-president of the Union of Polish Provinces and is a member of the National Development Council to the President of the Republic of Poland. 

Since 1980, member of the Independent Self-Governing Trade Union ‘Solidarity’ (he was, for example, member of the board of the Rzeszów Region, chairman of the Works Committee at WSK and OBR-PZL Mielec, vice-chairman of the National Aerospace Industries Section). 

He was born on 3 October 1963 in Kraśnik. Experienced local government official, civil servant and politician. Graduated in history from the Faculty of Humanities at Maria-Curie Sklodowska University in Lublin, as well as postgraduate studies in management at the University of Warsaw and in education management at the Baltic College of Humanities in Koszalin. 

In his home town, he was a teacher, school principal, councillor and deputy mayor. He served as a member of the Parliament for four terms. From 2015 to 2018, he served as Secretary of State at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, where he was responsible for financial support for sports infrastructure. He also oversaw the National Stadium in Warsaw, the Central Sports Centre and the Sports Institute. He is currently a member of the presidium of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), as well as chairman of the Presidential Council for Local Self-Government. 

On 21 November 2018, he was elected Marshal of the Lubelskie Province. 

Local government member, social worker. Currently Deputy Marshal of the Malopolska Region since 2018. Councillor of the Malopolska Region since 2014. From November 2015 to 2018, the head of the cabinet of the Minister of Infrastructure and Construction – participated in the most important projects for the Malopolska Region in the field of road and rail infrastructure. Previously, he was the director of the office of the Provincial Association of Volunteer Fire Brigades of the Republic of Poland and the coordinator of the project of the Małopolska Regional Operational Program concerning the purchase of specialized equipment for the purpose of strengthening the rescue potential of Małopolska firefighters. He continues to be socially involved in the development of volunteer fire brigades and local associations.

Lieutenant general Wiesław Kukuła ( born 16 March 1972 Czestochowa) started his military career in 1992 as an Officer Cadet in Military Academy of the Signal Corps in Zegrze.  

In 1996, after being promoted to 2nd lieutenant he served in units of 1st Special Forces Regiment, where he held positions from platoon leader to company commander.  

In 2003 he was deployed with Iraqi Freedom Operations to Iraq, at the same time he successfully completed Military University of Technology, and acquired Master Degree  
in electronics and telecommunication.  

In  2006 he was appointed to POL Special Operations Forces Command. One of his responsibilities was programming the development of Special Forces. 

In 2012 was designated to the position of the Commander of Special Forces Group. 

In 2016 he was appointed to the position of Commander of Territorial Defense Forces. 

On 29th November 2016 Polish President Andrzej Duda nominated Wiesław Kukuła  
as Brigadier General, and two years later in September 2018 he was nominated to the rank of Major General. 

In January 2020 general Wiesław Kukuła was handed an appointment letter for  
the second term of office as Commander of Territorial Defense Forces. 

 On 5th of November 2021 he was nominated to the rank of Lieutenant general. 

On 6th of February 2023 President Andrzej Duda designated Lieutenant general KUKUŁA to the position of General Commander of the Polish Armed Forces. 

Lieutenant general Wiesław Kukuła is interested in unconventional warfare history, project management and photography. He is married to Agnieszka, he has got two sons, Michał and Mikołaj. 

He is currently appointed as Chief of Staff at Joint Force Command in Brunssum, The Netherlands. Throughout his career, he was assigned for variety command and staff positions such as senior staff officer, contingent and brigade commander, Multinational Corps Deputy Commander and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. Deployed to several posts abroad i.e. Germany, Italy, Kosovo, Iraq and Lebanon. In 2016 Lt Gen. Król defended his PhD thesis on the Process of achieving operational capabilities in the Polish Armed Forces at the University of National Defence in Warsaw. The decorations of Lt Gen. Król include the Cross of Merit in Gold (Polish), the Army Commendation Medal (US) and Medal of Respect (Ukraine). 

His military career began at Poland's Military University of Technology (WAT), where he qualified and was appointed for military studies in the United States. He graduated with honours from the US Air Force Academy (USAFA). He holds a PhD degree in Political Science. 

He started his military career with assignment as an assault platoon commander with the 10-6 Airborne Brigade in Krakow. Afterwards, his assignments included NATO Specialist in the Secretariat of the State Secretary of Defense; Assistant Defense, Military, Navy, and Air Attaché in the Polish DAO in Washington DC; Senior Specialist at the J-5 Directorate at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces; Director of the Minister of National Defense Office; Chief of the Command Center at the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces; Chief of Training of the 1st Mechanized Division; Commander of the 15th Mech Brigade; Deputy MILREP at the Polish Military Representation to the NATO and EU Military Committees; Director J-5 Directorate at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces; Chief of Staff of the General Command of the Armed Forces; Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Development and Preparation at NATO SHAPE; Deputy Chief of Defense at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. Since September 26, 2022 he is the First Deputy Chief of Defense at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces. 

From 2011 until 2012, LTG Błazeusz was the Commanding General of the Polish Military Contingent in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Task Force White Eagle Xth Rotation Commander in Ghazni Province. 

In addition, LTG Błazeusz has over 500 parachute jumps and has been awarded Silver Cross of Merit, Military Cross of Merit, The Star of Afghanistan, NATO Meritorious Service Medal, NATO ISAF Non-article V Medal, US Bronze Star and Afghan Medal for Service in Security and Sovereignty of Afghanistan. 

 

Brigadier General Marcin Górka is the Director of Innovation Department in the Ministry of National Defense where he is responsible for military policy in the field of technology developments as well as technology identification and applications in support of national defence and security needs and requirements. His duties also include provision of technology advise and expertise for Ministry of National Defence in the area of space technology developments in his capacity as Minister of National Defense’s Plenipotentiary for Space.

Brigadier General Górka entered the Polish Armed Forces as an officer in 1996 after earning his MSc. Eng. in satellite navigation systems from the Military Academy of Technology in Warsaw. During his first operational assignments, he served as survey engineer, project officer and chief of section mainly introducing satellite downstream solutions to the Polish Armed Forces.

In 2003 he was directed to serve at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces (PAF) where he was responsible for overseeing capability development in the area of imagery intelligence including manned, unmanned and satellite systems. In 2005 he was appointed as Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom PAF Liaison Officer in the US CENTCOM.

After four years in this position, Brigadier General Górka was selected for the NATO Command Structure position in the Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, USA. He was an imagery intelligence SME in the Intelligence Subdivision and was responsible for developing policy level documents on the use of satellite imagery and emerging Earth observation technology for NATO.

Brigadier General Górka then served at the General Staff of the PAF where he over the period of 2010-2012 led the process of developing a long term program for application of satellite Earth observation technologies in the Polish Armed Forces. Following that he was directed to implement the program and appointed as the Imagery Intelligence Centre Commander. Over the years 2013-2018 he was responsible for the overall implementation of satellite imagery intelligence capability of the Polish Armed Forces including: provision of access to the satellite systems, development of national satellite assets, gaining operational readiness by the Imagery Intelligence Centre in the full spectrum of line of developments.

He was also responsible for international co-operation in the area of imagery intelligence including Polish participation in the EDA Multinational Space-Based Imaging System, Allied Ground Surveillance Program, negotiation and implementation of the Polish access to the Italian COSMO SkyMed System and OPTSAT3000.

During his service, he repeatedly represented the Polish Armed Forces in international projects and ventures, including NATO Standardization Groups, cooperation with the European Union Satellite Center, cooperation in satellite Earth observation with the Republic of Italy, France, Israel and the USA.

In 2019 Brigadier General Marcin Górka was competitively selected and appointed by the Prime Minister as the Vice-President of the Polish Space Agency where he was responsible for defence and security related matters leading and directing programme of work of two substantive departments of the agency: the Defence Projects Department and the Military Satellite Technologies Department.

A graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at the University of Warsaw. PhD degree in political sciences, Graduate of Executive Master of Business Administration (Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences) and Master of Public Administration (National School of Public Administration and IESE Universidad de Navarra). Author of publications on administrative and political science. Since 2018, Director of the Department of Strategy and Defense Planning at the Ministry of National Defense. 

Mr. Witold Grostal has been acting as a Director of Economic Analysis and Research Department at Narodowy Bank Polski (NBP) since 1 July 2023. Since 2003, he has held several positions at NBP in the areas of monetary policy, incl. Director Bureau of Monetary Policy Strategy and Deputy Director of Economic Analysis and Research Department. 

Graduate of the Szczecin University of Technology, a chemical engineer by profession. 

Between 1978 and 2007, an active politician, Member of Parliament of the Republic of Poland (Sejm) for seven consecutive terms (Democratic Left Alliance). He also held key government positions – Minister of Economy, Deputy Minister of Economy and Labour and Minister of Economy and Labour. Member of numerous regular and extraordinary Sejm committees and subcommittees (including the committee for drafting the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, the Committee on Local Self-Government and Regional Policy, the Committee on Ownership Transformation, the subcommittee on transport, the subcommittee on connectivity). His areas of responsibility included restructuring the mining, metallurgy and defence industries, energy security, entrepreneurship development, management and use of EU funds. He negotiated the terms of Poland’s accession to the EU in the area of competition policy. He led negotiations on offset programmes with companies such as Lockheed Martin. 

After leaving politics, he turned to business. He is a co-founder and President of the Europe-North–East International Association - organiser of the annual international economic forum in Świnoujście) and President of the Polish-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce. He focuses on economic and business relations in the Baltic region, as well as Polish-Ukrainian economic affairs. He is actively involved in the preparation of the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and in activities supporting the local economy. 

He has been awarded the Silver Cross of Merit and the Bronze Cross of Merit, the Medal of the National Education Committee, as well as state decorations of Ukraine, Germany, Estonia and Malta for his special services to these countries. 

Major General (ret.) PhD Former commander of Polish Special Military Formation GROM, which under his command, took part in Operation Iraqi Freedom and ISAF – Afghanistan. 

He worked also as a Combating Terrorism Advisor of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration and Deputy Head of the National Security Bureau. 

After retirement, he joined the Presidential group working on national security strategy as an advisor. Currently, a member of Security and Defense Council. 

Andrzej Zybertowicz, PhD. Scholar, public intellectual, new technologies and security policy expert. Security policy advisor to the President of Poland Andrzej Duda since 2015.  

Runs the Center for the Study of Civilizational Challenges at the War Studies Academy since 2016. Among his numerous publications is a co-authored book: “A Suicide of the Enlightenment? How neuroscience and new technologies devastate the human world” (in Polish, 2015). Recently published a book-length interview “The Cyber versus the Real: Civilsation in a Techno-trap” (2022).

He started his military service in 1980. In 1984, he graduated from the Mechanized Forces College in Wroclaw, but has since completed many courses, training and studies, including university and post-graduate studies at the National Defence Academy (1994, 2008). After graduating from the Academy, he was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General on 15 August 2008. He continued his education and in 2013 he completed the International Capstone Course (Rome). His professional military career started in 1984 as a platoon leader for the 41st Mechanized Regiment in Szczecin. In 1987, he was appointed Commander of the Mechanized Company, and in 1990 he assumed the role of Chief of Staff of the Mechanized Battalion. 

In 1994, Major General Reudowicz was appointed Battalion Commander of the 33rd Mechanized Regiment, Budowo. In 1995, he was nominated as Chief of Staff/Deputy Commander in the newly formed 13th Mechanized Brigade, Czarne. In 1998, he was assigned to the Land Forces Command 

Operational Planning Branch where he served until 2002. 

Following the accession of Poland to the Alliance, Major General Reudowicz was engaged in preparing and developing NATO operational planning and participated in Poland's first NATO exercise series. Major General Reudowicz was the first representative of the Polish Land Forces involved in Operation Enduring Freedom and took part in the mission as a member of the Polish Liaison Team working at U.S. CENTCOM, Tampa (2001-2002). 

In his later career Major General Reudowicz has assumed positions such as the Deputy Commander of the 15th Mechanized Brigade (2002-2004), main specialist and then Chief of the G-3 Land Operations Management in Land Forces Command (2005-2006) and Commander of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów (2008–2011). In 2005, he was appointed Special Advisor to the Commander of the Multinational Division Central – southern Iraq. He was also Commander of the 8th rotation of the Polish Military Contingent in Afghanistan (2010–2011) and served as Commander-in-Chief of Command Centre of Operational Command (2011–2013). Major General Reudowicz was then assigned as Chief of the Aeromobile and Mechanized Forces Management in the Land Forces Inspectorate (2014–2015). In 23 November 2015, he was appointed Commander of the 12th Mechanized Division in Szczecin. 

Major General Reudowicz took over the command of NATO's Joint Warfare Centre (J\VC) and  thereby became the Centre's eighth Commander on 21 July 2016. He was promoted to the rank of Major General on 15 August 2016. From September 2011, Major General Reudowicz also became the Chancellor of the Order of Army Cross.

He holds a degree in economics. Founder and CEO of the once listed Optimus SA computer manufacturing company – the largest IT company in Central Europe in the 1990s, supplying computer equipment to Poland and numerous neighbouring countries. Co-founder of the website onet.pl, creator of a partnership with the US defence company Lockheed Martin, which won government contracts. In 2002 he was arrested on suspicion of tax extortion by Optimus, he was completely cleared of the charges, which turned out to be false and unfounded – based on non-existent legislation. This experience led him to direct his activities towards the business, administrative and political sectors, drawing public attention to issues concerning the development and conduct of entrepreneurship. 

As a political activist, he was the government's associate for economic affairs, the creator of the so-called ‘Kluska package’ – a set of regulations designed to make it easier for new entrepreneurs to enter the market. From 2015 to 2019, he was a member of the National Development Council. As a supporter of the free market and deregulation of the economy, he is active in advocating for business facilitation and solutions to make business and market activities easier for smaller entrepreneurs and level the playing field against multinational corporations. 

He is the President of the Management Board of the company ‘Prawdziwe Jedzenie’, which produces and distributes elite sheep and cow cheeses made without the use of industrial animal husbandry technologies and without GMOs, antibiotics and hormones. 

He has received numerous awards for his business and charitable activities.

His main research specialisation is research and application activities in Materials Science & Engineering in the field of ceramic materials for structural and functional applications in constructions for the machine-building, automotive, aviation, military, aerospace, electronics, and other industries. He is the Honorary Fellow of the European Ceramic Society, member of: the International Society of Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis; the American Ceramic Society, the Polish Ceramic Society and the Polish Materials Society (former president of PMS). He is also President of the International Affairs Committee of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (CRASP) and the Vice-President of the Conference of Rectors of the Polish Technical Universities.

Graduate of agricultural mechanisation at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Power Engineering of the Agricultural University in Krakow. Since 1990 has been an employee of the Institute of Agricultural Mechanisation and Power Engineering. From 2008 to 2012 the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs in the Faculty of Production Engineering and Energy, and from 2011 to 2018 the Head of the Establishment of Production Organisation and Applied Informatics. He was vice-rector for teaching and student affairs from 2012 to 2016 and from 2016 to 2020 terms, and has been rector of Agricultural University in Krakow since 2020. 

Initially, his research work was in the field of organisation and economics in agricultural engineering, as well as issues in the areas of progress and efficiency of scientific and technical progress in agriculture. Subsequently, the scope of research broadened to include the assessment and analysis of the utilisation of production factors under the conditions of organic and sustainable farming systems, as well as the issues of eco-energetics and rational use of production resources. He is a co-author of an innovation in microwave control of invasive plants, awarded several times at festivals and innovation fairs.

He has developed expert reports ordered by companies and economic institutions. He managed and executed research projects financed by the National Centre for Research and Development. An international expert in the areas of transport, transportation systems, travel modelling, functional efficiency of transport infrastructure development, with particular emphasis on the upgrading of rail and road networks. He conducts research on traffic behaviour in urbanised areas, performs traffic forecasts for the expansion of national and provincial roads, and analyses the planning and strategic documents of many Polish cities. As a transport consultant, he works both in Poland and abroad (Greece, Denmark, Germany, Ukraine and the United States). He has developed transport models for Polish cities and regions, e.g.: Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Rzeszów, Warsaw, Kraków, Kielce, the Mazowieckie Voivodeship  and the Małopolska Province. He is co-author of the transport model for Thessaloniki (Greece). He has carried out transport projects (over 250) related to research on the functional efficiency of transport projects, including those co-financed by the EU, e.g. concerning the expansion of the road and tram system in Gdańsk, Łódź, Poznań, Wrocław, Warsaw, Olsztyn and Kraków, as well as projects on the development of the Fast Agglomeration Railway in the Małopolska Voivodeship, feasibility study on the High-Speed Rail in Kraków, etc. He led the work of a consortium (with Cracow University of Technology as the leader) that was the first in Poland to develop a methodology for creating a public transport plan (on the example of the Małopolska Province), developed a methodology for conducting traffic research in Kraków in 2013 and carried out the Warsaw Traffic Survey in 2015. Since 2019, he has been the main consultant in the work on the construction of a transport model for Poland, conducted by the Centre for EU Transport Projects. 

He is a member of many prestigious scientific and advisory bodies, including the Council for Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Construction Committee of the Kraków Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Task Force for Large-Scale Development Projects to the Committee for Spatial Planning of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Technical Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Polish Union of Construction Engineers and Technicians, and the Association of Transportation Engineers and Technicians. A graduate of the University of Life Sciences in Poznań, he has been working in the State Forests since 1978. He used to work in Silesian forest districts: Świerklaniec and Brynek as a deputy forester, forester and supervisory engineer. In May 2020, he became the Director of the Regional Directorate of the State Forests in Katowice. Since April 9, 2021 he has held the position of Director General of the State Forests. He is also a Councillor of the Silesian Voivodeship Sejmik (regional parliament). 

Damian Sieber is a graduate of the Stanisław Morawski Forestry Technical High School in Brynek and the Hugo Kołłątaj University of Agriculture in Krakow, where he studied forestry. He also completed postgraduate studies in the field of Genetics and Selection of Forest Tree Species. 

He began his professional career at the State Forests in 1991, working at the Brynek Forest District in various positions, including intern, assistant forester, specialist, forester, and supervisory engineer. In 2020, he was appointed Deputy Director for Development at the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Katowice. Then, in the spring of 2021, he took on the role of Acting Director of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Katowice. Since January 2023, he has been serving as the Director of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Katowice. 

The graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Agriculture in Krakow. He began his career in forestry in 1988 in the Dukla Forest District, performing the functions of forester and deputy forester. For 20 years he has been an employee of the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Krosno, successively in the following positions: head of the department, deputy director for forest management, and since February 25, 2021 he has served as director of this unit. During his career, he has actively participated in the activities of organizations related to forestry and nature protection, among others in: Central and District Board of the Polish Forestry Association, Association of Foresters and Wood Technologists, Polish Hunting Association, associations working for the benefit of the local community. The initiator of the construction in Jaslo of the monument to Adam Loret – the first director of the State Forests, care of the graves of foresters in Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv, many scientific conferences, author of numerous publications on forestry. 

A graduate of the Faculty of Forestry at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He has been working in forestry since 1998. After a year of practice in the State Forests, he worked for nine years in the Bureau for Forest Management and Geodesy. Since 2008, he has been working at the General Directorate of the State Forests, until recently serving as the head of the Nature Conservation Department. Between 2008 and 2015, he was the President of the Management Board at JP Capital Group sp. z o.o., specialising in the preparation and implementation of ventures and innovative projects, including the founding and running of startups. During this time, he also ran the European Entrepreneurship Centre Foundation. In 2015, he was appointed Secretary of State at the Ministry of Development. 

Since 2015, he has been a member of the National Development Council and was appointed First Deputy of the Deputy Prime Minister in the Ministry of Development. He started his professional career in 1994 at Big Bank S.A. and at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, where he was an assistant at the Faculty of Management. He worked at Raiffeisen Centrobank S.A. Krakow Branch, Société Générale Warsaw Branch, Fortis Bank Polska S.A., in Bank Millennium S.A. in the position of Director of the Małopolska Centre for Relations with Customers (Medium and Large Enterprises), and then he joined Bank BPH S.A. in Krakow. Since 2007, he has been employed at Bank Pekao S.A., where he initially held managerial positions in the field of managing relations with corporate customers, then he was responsible for managing relations with private banking customers and managing a team of private banking advisors as director of the Regional Sales Office in Krakow. Since 2013, Jarosław Fuchs also worked at Central Brokerage House of Bank Pekao S.A. in the position of Regional Director in the Strategic Clients Office, being responsible for the distribution of investment products to strategic customers. 

He is the Vice-President of the Management Board of the Bank and supervises the Risk Management Division, Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna. 

Holder of a Master's degree in Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics and a doctoral degree at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He started his career in 2002 at the consulting firm Ernst & Young, where he carried out projects in the areas of risk, finance and internal audit. Then, he joined Deloitte Advisory, where he provided solutions to the largest financial institutions in Poland and abroad, including credit policy, risk models, credit process improvement for retail and corporate customers, market and liquidity risk management, accounting rules and regulatory requirements, due diligence for acquisitions.  

Head of Retail Banking Credit Risk at Bank Millennium (2012–2016), responsible for credit policy and credit assessment models for business lines such as unsecured consumer loans, mortgage loans, small business loans.  

He held the following positions: member of the Management Board of Pekao Bank Hipoteczny S.A. (2018–2019), Vice-President of the Management Board of Bank Pekao S.A. (2019–2020), where he was responsible for the Risk Management Division, Director of Credit Risk. He also serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Krajowa Izba Rozliczeniowa S.A., a member of the Board of Directors of KGHM International LTD with its registered office in Canada and a member of the Team of Economic Advisors to the Ministry of State Assets. 

Maciej Brzozowski has been working in the banking sector since the beginning of his professional career. Until 24 March 2022 he has been a member of the Management Board of Alior Bank responsible for managing market, liquidity and operational risk, supervising, among others, the Alior Bank's credit policy for retail and business clients as well as the area of debt collection and restructuring. He chaired and was a member of the relevant committees in this regard. He also took part in many business and optimization projects implemented in the area of the entire Alior Bank. 

He started his career in 1996 at PKO Bank Polski S.A., then he was associated with Kredyt Bank. In the years 2017 -2020, he has dealt with the issues of risk and stability of the financial system at the National Bank of Poland as deputy director of the Financial Stability Department. His responsibilities also included cooperation with the European Systemic Risk Board in the area of systemic risk. At the NBP he was also involved in the topics concerning macroprudential instruments and was also responsible for analyzing new solutions in the CRD IV/CRR package regarding regulations of banks' operations, imposing capital buffers and prudential requirements for credit institutions. 

Since 2008 to 2012 he held managerial functions in the Risk Assessment Department and the Inspection Department in the Polish Financial Supervision Authority Office, where he was responsible, among others, for the area of banking regulations and validation of advanced credit risk models for calculating banks' capital requirements. Since 1999 he was involved in sales and risk area at Kredyt Bank, where he worked inter alia in the Credit Risk Department and Risk Management Department. He also coordinated the optimization of business processes in the organization. He participated in works related to building models determining the risk of default for corporate entities and calculating capital requirements. A graduate of the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. He holds the title of Master of Business Administration Management Training Center at this university. He lectured on the basics of financial risk at the Social College of Entrepreneurship and Management in Łódź. 

Mr. Rafał Litwińczuk in his professional career has an gained experience in the fields of asset and liability management, foreign exchange risk, operational risk, interest rate risk and product sales in a number of financial institutions. From July 2018 to November 2021, he served on the Management Board of Pekao Bank Hipoteczny, where he oversaw the finance area. During that time, he implemented a project of transferring mortgage receivables within the capital group. 

From 2016 to 2018, Mr. Rafał Litwińczuk joined Credit Agricole Polska S.A. Bank, where he was involved in the bank's arbitrage and interest rate and relationship with financial clients as well as the MIFID II implementation project. From 2012 to 2016 he held a senior position at Pekao Bank Hipoteczny, where, as the Director of the Asset Management, Liabilities and Mortgage Note Issuance Department, he was in charge of raising long-term funding, responsible for liaising with and servicing investors, as well as for all treasury operations, hedge accounting, currency risk, asset and liability management, relations with rating agencies and banking supervision. He was also responsible for handling the mortgage bond programme, amendments to the prospectus, liaison with the KDPW and compliance with disclosure requirements. 

From 1997 to 2012 he served as Head of the Treasury Department in Westdeutsche Landesbank Polska investment bank, where he oversaw sales of financial instruments, arbitrage, interest rate management, foreign exchange risk, EMEA liquidity and was responsible for client relations and service. He also supervised the programme of issuance of certificates of deposit and sales to the bank's customers. From 1995 to 1997 he was managing liquidity and interest rates at ING Bank Śląski. From 1993 to 1995 he worked at Bank BGŻ, where he carried out interbank market transactions, was responsible for the bank's liquidity, interest rate management and depositary transactions with the customers of the bank. 

Rafał Litwińczuk meets all the requirements set out in the provisions of Article 22aa of the Act of 29 August 1997 – the Banking Law (consolidated text: Dz.U. [Polish Journal of Laws] of 2019, item 2357 as amended). 

Pawel Tomczyszyn served as a Proxy and Director of the Corporate Services Department of Bank Pekao SA, where he managed the Legal Department (including the service of Pekao Group companies), the Procurement Department, the Real Estate Department and the Bank Service Department. Previously, he held the position of Managing Director of the Legal Department of Bank Pekao SA (including support for the Bank's Corporate Bodies and Pekao Group entities) and Managing Director of the Key Restructuring and Collections Department of Bank Pekao SA. 
 
Pawel Tymczyszyn is a manager with supervisory, management and advisory experience. He has worked for a wide range of entities: major public companies in the banking, retail, insurance, operations, heavy industry, media and advertising sectors, ministry, state agency, public office and NGO's. He is a lawyer with several years of hands-on experience, specializing in corporate and company regulatory law, banking and business law, and in mitigation of legal risks of key credit and financial transactions, in mergers and acquisitions, in restructuring and debt recovery, as well as in civil litigation, protection of property and press law. 
 
He is a co-author of the part of the Banking Law Commentary of 2022 issue red. by P. Zapadek and A. Mikos-Sitek (published by Wolters Kluwer) and also the publications issued in 2020 and 2021 on the corporate and banking law in Monitor Prawniczy, Monitor Praw Handlowego, Przegląd Prawa Handlowego. He serves as a member of the team to enhance board effectiveness within the Corporate Supervision Reform Commission of the Ministry of State Assets of the Republic of Poland and is a Panelist at economic conferences. He has completed post-graduate Executive MBA studies at the Faculty of Management at University of Warsaw. He is a legal advisor in Warsaw and holds a Master of Law degree from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. 

From 2018 to 2022 Dawid was an advisor to the Management Board of Unipetrol A.S – the largest refining and petrochemical company in the Czech Republic. In 2015–2016, he served as Minister of the State Treasury of Poland. Previously, he was a Member of the European Parliament (8th term) where he sat on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) and the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO). 

Dawid has been a Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland three times (5th, 6th and 7th terms) representing the Wrocław constituency. In the Polish Parliament he held the positions of Vice-Chairman of the State Treasury Committee, Chairman of the Committee on Local Government and Regional Policy, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Group on Shale Gas and was a member of the Parliamentary Group on Energy. From 2003 to 2005, he was Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, responsible for areas of architecture and construction, town planning, city development, environmental protection and protection of historical monuments. 

Dawid Jackiewicz is Vice President of the Board of the DISE Foundation (the Lower Silesian Institute for Energy Studies) and a member of the Programme Council of the Economic Forum in Karpacz. From 2019 to 2020 he was a member of the first Academic Council of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (UKSW). 

He holds a degree in political science from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wrocław.

Lecturer at the Department of Automatic Control and Robotics of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Automatics, Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He has participated in a number of international projects concerning the design of innovative nuclear reactors. From 2022 to 2023, he was a visiting professor at the Department of Nuclear Power Plant Engineering of the KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School in Ulsan, South Korea, where his responsibilities included scientific research on PWR-type nuclear reactors and developing nuclear education programmes. 

Lecturer at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels at the AGH University of Kraków. Vice President of the European Nuclear Society, which brings together nuclear energy specialists from 22 European countries and Israel, of the Climate Council established in 2021 at the UN Global Compact Network Poland in the Climate Positive programme, taking up the broad subject of climate threats to the modern world, Secretary General of the Polish Nucleonic Society. 

He is an active promoter of reliable knowledge on the use of nuclear energy. He is a member of the Management Board of the Institute of Sustainable Energy Foundation, where he is involved in projects with the purpose of educating and popularising knowledge about energy, including a programme of classes for schools devoted to this subject.

Dominika Niewierska is the director of Department of Coordination and Settlement of Hydrogen Projects in Orlen responsible for coordination of the hydrogen projects development in Orlen Capital Group. She is involved in securing external financing for key strategic hydrogen engagements of the ORLEN Group. She is also committed to international affairs with involvement in creation European and national regulatory frameworks for new businesses.  

Before she has joined Orlen, she was R&D senior expert in one of the biggest energy company in CEE. Dominika is an expert with many years of experience in the field of innovation, research and development and managed several multidisciplinary projects’ programs, including an international demonstration project carbon capture and storage (CCS) with the use of aid financing, in cooperation with the European Commission.  

Since 2018 she has developed many concepts and projects ideas with the use of low and zeroemission hydrogen technologies.

Dominika graduated from the Technical University of Lodz and holds an MSc degree in Process and Environmental Engineering in the field of air protection supplemented with the professional project management certificate.

Rafał Brzoska is a Polish entrepreneur and inventor, the founder and CEO of Integer Capital Group, Europe's leading e-commerce delivery platform. Rafał is a business angel and co-founder at bValue VC and InovoVC. He is a member of Corporate Connections Global, an organisation of owners representing top global companies, including representatives of the Forbes 100 list. Rafał founded the Integer group’s flagship company, InPost, which revolutionised Poland’s logistics market. The first Automated Parcel Machine (APM) bearing the company’s yellow and black logo appeared in 2009, and the lockers very quickly became part of Poland’s urban landscape.

Founding member (2005) of the Association of Independent Combined Heat and Power Producers, later becoming a member of the Management Board and its President. He is Chairman of the Council of the Polish Heating Industry Chamber of Commerce. Member of numerous trade organisations, sat on programme boards of conferences, was an expert of the Economic Chamber of Polish Heat Engineering and a member of the Council of the South-Eastern Branch. 

Rafał Włodarski is a legal counsel with over 10 years of experience in corporate and regulatory legal services for companies in the energy sector, which involves supporting companies both in their day-to-day activities and in transactions, as well as implementing innovative solutions and representing companies in precedent-setting proceedings.

He gained extensive transactional experience in share deal and asset deal transactions, in establishing rules of cooperation between shareholders (joint ventures) and in comprehensive due diligence analyses involving the identification of legal risks associated with companies' activities.
His area of expertise also includes legal advice to energy sector companies and electricity consumers on current and planned legislation, in particular on renewable/CHP self-generation, Corporate PPAs and RES auctions.
Until January 2023 Mr. Rafał Włodarski served as Deputy Director of the Supervision Department I at the Ministry of State Assets, and prior to joining the Ministry of State Assets he worked with leading law firms in Poland, where as a member of the Energy & Natural Resources, Corporate/M&A and Banking&Finance practices he participated in a number of key transactions in the Polish market, with an aggregate value in excess of PLN 10 billion. Moreover, between September 2020 and January 2023 he was the Supervisory Board member of ENEA S.A.

She is interested in raising the public's awareness about functioning in cyberspace and the dangers of spreading harmful content. She analyses, for example, the methods and tools used to misinform the public. As part of her job, she is interested in countering disinformation regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war in social media, as well as the electoral process in Poland and the impact of the development of AI on Internet users.

Professor of technical sciences and a graduate of the Faculty of Mining and Geology of the Silesian University of Technology as well as post-graduate management studies (MBA) at Warsaw School of Economics (SGH). Since 2015, he has served as the Director of the Central Mining Institute. He joined the Central Mining Institute in 1991, where in 2003-2015 he headed up Mining Technology and Roof Support Department. He is a recognized expert in the fields of mining and engineering geology.  

In his scientific and research work, he deals with issues related to underground mining of hard coal seams. He has authored and co-authored several monographs and approx. 200 publications in renowned national and international journals in which he has published the outcomes of his research. He co-authored more than 70 applications for the recognition of inventions and utility designs, which have won a number of awards and distinctions in various national and international contests. He has headed various teams appointed under the auspices of the Central Mining Institute in a variety of national and international projects, cooperating with research centers in Europe and across the world.

She specialises in issues concerning US foreign policy and the importance of its global leadership, in recent years particularly focusing on  international security and US-Ukraine relations. She has taught and conducted research at a number of well-known foreign universities, including the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin), Imperial College (London), and Centre for Social Innovation (Vienna). 

She has authored numerous publications in the international scholarly press, e.g. Global Political Leadership. In Search of Synergy (Routledge, 2023), The return of the hero-leader? Volodymyr Zelensky’s international image and the global response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Leadership Journal, 19(3), 196–209. Additionally, she is a frequent commentator on the course of international affairs to major Polish and foreign media. 

Prof. Marek Wigier is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. Since 1994 is employed at the Institute of Agricultural and Food Economics – National Research Institute, currently as Professor and Head of the Department of Economics and Agricultural Policy and Rural Development. He was also the Scientific Secretary of the Institute, and in the years 2005-2020 the Head of Long-Term Research Programs. Since 2000, he is a member of the Scientific Council of IERiGŻ-NRI, and since 2007 of the Monitoring Committees of subsequent RDPs at the Minister of Rural Development. He is also a member of the editorial boards of scientific journals published among others: in Ukraine, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. He obtained his PhD in social sciences in the discipline of economics and finance in 2020. He is a scholarship holder of international scientific programs, among others: the IVLP USA program, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, the "Batory Foundation". Professionally, he deals with macro and microeconomic issues in relation to the agri-food sector, including among others agricultural policy and the allocation and distribution effects of the use of public funds in agriculture, the economic and production situation on agricultural markets and in the processing sector, economic and social development of rural areas, issues of bioeconomy, circular economy and sustainable development, as well as innovation, smart villages and transfer knowledge. He has many years of extensive experience in managing and implementing research and application projects financed from national and international funds from the following programs: Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, "Gospostrateg", EU Framework Programs, as well as FAO. He gained many years of teaching experience as a lecturer of postgraduate studies, training programs and a speaker at numerous seminars and conferences. He is the author or co-author of about 150 scientific and popular science articles and about 100 expertise and opinions 

PhD in political science, publicist, employee of the Department of History and Cultural Heritage at Pontifical University of John Paul II, vice president of the Center for Political Thought. His research focuses on the history of political thought, with particular emphasis on the interwar period. Among other works, he is the author of ‘In Defense of the Constitution. The political thought of Henry St. John Bolingbroke’ (2012), ‘Conservative revolution - the Polish case. Political thought of the environment of the "Bunt Młodych" and "Polityka" (1931-1939)’. He publishes in Krakow's "Arcany" and "New Books" magazine. 

Economist, political scientist, PhD in political science and public administration. Head of the Eastern Europe programme and chief analyst for Ukraine at the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM). The issues he covers have a comprehensive profile and include Ukraine’s foreign and domestic policies, security and economic situation, post-war reconstruction of the country, as well as Ukraine’s integration with the European Union and NATO. 

He has been an author of two studies on the implementation of the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement, commissioned by the European Parliamentary Research Service in 2020 and 2022. In 2019, he was also an editor and co-author of a country report on Ukraine within the framework of the EU-LISTCO international research project on EU foreign policy challenges.

He is the author of scientific publications on administrative law, including NGO law and mediation. 

Lithuanian diplomat since 1990, started diplomatic carrier with covering consular issues. First posting abroad was to the Lithuanian Embassy to Austria, where covered consular affairs, media and cooperation with Slovakia, Slovenia and Croatia.

After coming back to Vilnius in 2000, started working at MFA as a Counsellor of Central Europe and Western Balkan Countries Division and dealt with one of the priorities of Lithuanian foreign policy – bilateral relations with Poland. In 2004–2008 served as Counsellor at Lithuanian Embassy to Poland, responsible for inter-parliamentary cooperation, relations with Lithuanian community in Poland, media, protocol.

Paweł Ziemnicki has been active in topics related to the space industry for seven years. He worked as a journalist and then as an editor-in-chief of the Space24.pl website, which belongs to the Defence24 Group. He has written a number of analyses and shorter press articles on Earth satellite observation, satellite communication, as well as navigation and positioning using GNSS infrastructure. He has conducted many interviews with ministers and other decision makers, as well as with the heads of organizations, such as the European Space Agency and the European Southern Observatory. Paweł Ziemnicki has published essays in many of the main Polish newspapers as well as weekly and monthly magazines. 

He has led discussion panels on the space industry during many large economic conferences, such as EFNI, Kongres 590 or Krynica Forum, as well as during Cyber24Day and Defence24 DAY. He also moderated the entire space conference in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. For some time he was involved in selling satellite imagery, working for various foreign operators.

He was ordained a priest in 1987. He belongs to the association of Pallottines, i.e. the Society of the Catholic Apostolate.

He was actively involved in the activities of the Korean Pallottine Community and stayed in the South Korea from 1990 to 2018. Until 2011, he served as the delegate of the Provincial priest and from 1999 to 2011 served as a rector of the house in Bundang. From 2015 to 2018, he was a rector in Jangdoglon. He returned to the Poland in 2018. He serves as a priest at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary of the Archdiocese of Warsaw in Ożarów Mazowiecki and fulfils the function of Provincial Secretary for Mercy.

Professor at the Cracow University of Economics in the Department of Real Estate Economics and Investment Process and its head. Director of the postgraduate programme Real Estate valuation at the Cracow School of Business CUE. His academic interests focus on issues related to public finance, especially local finance, and real estate economics and management. He has also been a lecturer at e.g. the Tadeusz Kościuszko Cracow University of Technology, the Jesuit University Ignatianum in Krakow and abroad, e.g. at the Vienna University of Economics or the Narxoz Business Scholl in Kazakhstan. 

Scholarship holder of the American Real Estate Society's James R. Webb Foundation programme. Since 2005, he has been a member of the European Real Estate Society, the largest real estate scientific association in Europe. 

He is a member of the editorial board of two academic journals: The Word of Real Estate Journal and Entrepreneurial Business and Economics Review, where he is also the online editor. He collaborates as a reviewer with a number of journals, such as: Lex localis – Journal of Local Self-Government, Journal of Corporate Real Estate, Real Estate Management and Valuation, Sustainable Cities and Society, Sustainability. He has published numerous academic articles and independent books as author or co-author. 

Head of the Department of Forest Resources Management and the Chair of the Council of the Forest Sciences discipline at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Agriculture in Kraków. He is deputy chairman of the Committee of Forest Sciences and Wood Technology, Polish Academy of Sciences. He has held scientific internships at the Integrated Remote Sensing Studio at the University of British Columbia, Canada and at the University of Lisbon, Portugal. His scientific output includes more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, published overwhelmingly in reputable JCR-listed journals.  

He has managed numerous national and international research projects and has been a contractor in international projects (EU FP5, EU FP7, H2020, Horizon Europe, Forest Value) and several national projects, including those supported by KBN, MNiSW, NCBiR. He is currently working on 6 national and international research projects. He is involved in three main research directions: 

1. Causes and consequences of long-term changes in forest productivity. 

2 Forest disturbance and climate change adaptation in forest management and the mitigation role of forests. 

3. Modelling of stand growth and site productivity with particular reference to the use of remote sensing data. 

Promoter in 7 completed doctoral dissertations, including 4 PhDs which were awarded distinction. 

Awarded 19 individual and team awards for scientific, teaching and organisational activities between 2005 and 2022. In 2016, he received the Team Award from the Minister of Science and Higher Education. In 2018, he received a distinction together with a prize awarded by the Chapter of the Adam Loret Award of the State Forests in the category "The most momentous, from the point of view of basic and/or practical knowledge, completed and realised scientific paper in the territory of the Republic of Poland concerning forestry in the broad sense" for the scientific work entitled "Current and potential site productivity of forest sites for the main forest-forming species in Poland". 

She is a professor at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She heads the project entitled Research Centre of the Three Seas Initiative at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. 

Her research interests focus on regional cooperation in Central Europe and Poland’s foreign and security Policy. Agnieszka Orzelska-Stączek graduated from the University of Warsaw with an MA degree in international relations, as well as from the Polish-French MA programme in European studies implemented by the SGH Warsaw School of Economics and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris. Since 1999, she has been working  at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 2002, she was awarded a doctoral degree for a thesis distinguished with the award of the Prime Minister. In 2004–2005, she was a scholar of the Foundation for Polish Science. Since 2012, when she obtained her postdoctoral degree (habilitacja), she has been employed as professor at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. From 2012 to 2018, she also taught at the Lazarski University, where she received the rector’s award for very high achievements in teaching. From July 2021 to December 2022, she was head of the Department of Central and Eastern Europe and Post-Soviet Studies of the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In January 2023, she was elected as a member of the Ethics Committee of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
