TAURON Dystrybucja S.A. is the Distribution System Operator. It is part of the TAURON Group, which is one of the largest business entities in Poland. The company is engaged in the transmission and supply of electricity. Responsible for the development, operation and maintenance of power grids in southern Poland. In the area of operation, nearly 58 thousand km2 serves over 5.84 million customers, transmitting approximately 51.6 GWh of energy per year. TAURON Dystrybucja has network assets that constitute approximately 25% of the power grid in Poland.

The company uses modern technological solutions and has the potential to guarantee customers power supply security and a high standard of services provided. TD's investment budget in 2023 will reach PLN 2.4 billion.
