Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland

Andrzej Duda 

The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, has assumed Honorary Patronage of the Krynica Forum 2024 conference, which will take place on 18-20 September 2024. The President's presence at the event is not only proof of his support for the topics discussed, but also underlines their strategic importance for Poland and its position on the international arena.

President Andrzej Duda will personally attend the conference to present his perspective on key challenges related to national and international security, national development and Poland's geopolitical role. Against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict across our eastern border, this perspective will address the most pressing security issues and stability in the region. 

Last year's edition, also under the Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, hosted international leaders including South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda and former Slovenian President Borut Pahor. As a result, the event set a new quality of international debate, focusing on political and economic cooperation. 

This year's edition of Krynica Forum 2024 continues the vision of President Andrzej Duda, who emphasised in 2023: 'I hope that in the years to come the Krynica Forum will grow in terms of participants and its potential. This event has its place in the political and economic calendar of the Republic.'

The structure of the discussion panels has been planned to ensure maximum content quality, enabling in-depth analyses of topics and dialogue at the highest level. Discussions will be based on theses formulated in advance by experts, and their open formula will allow a wider audience to participate, including all those interested in the future of Poland. 

The Honorary Patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda over Krynica Forum 2024 underlines the importance of the event, making it a key platform for the exchange of ideas, reflections and strategies on the development and security of Poland, Europe and the region. The involvement of the President of the Republic of Poland emphasises the importance of the issues discussed, referring to specific actions taken by Poland in the face of global challenges.
