About Krynica
Forum 2024
Krynica Forum 2024 will take place on September 18-20 in Krynica-Zdrój, one of the most picturesque Polish spas, boasting international renown of more than 100 years. The Main Partner of the event is Małopolska Voivodeship. This three-day event will feature more than 40 thematic panels, bringing together nearly 150 speakers and several thousand participants. The panels within each of the four thematic strands will be hosted at one of the main stages located in the Main Pump Room and the Ballroom of the Old Spa House.
This year, for the first time, the event will be held in a remarkably public-friendly format. Our goal is to reach beyond our traditional audiences of experts, decision-makers, politicians, opinion leaders, and business representatives. Owing to the use of an innovative open registration system, we anticipate a large participation of ordinary citizens interested in public life, who care about the welfare and development of our country.
To increase the impact on public debate and disseminate the points made at the conference, we have invited recognizable public figures, including journalists and influencers to participate in the event. Through coverage in social media, we hope to reach the younger generation of recipients and users of new technologies, who will thus learn about the topics discussed at Krynica Forum directly from opinion leaders.
The Krynica Forum 2024 Main Partner is the Malopolska Region and the Programme Partner is the Jagiellonian Club.
KRYNICA-ZDRÓJ
Krynica-Zdrój has been internationally renowned as an elite spa for over 100 years. Following the restoration of Poland’s sovereignty in 1918, it became one of the favorite holiday destinations for Poles, including the biggest names in film and theatre. A vivid reminiscence of those times is, for instance, the pearl of Polish modernism, the Patria Hotel built by Jan Kiepura, a world-famous tenor and actor.
For decades, Krynica-Zdrój has been visited by European entrepreneurs, political leaders, and even crowned heads of state. For over 30 years, it has been featuring economic and artistic events. Its popularity rests primarily on the beauty of the surrounding nature, its climate, and the wealth of therapeutic springs, nowhere to be found worldwide. The revitalized urban infrastructure with a charming promenade makes Krynica one of the most prestigious places in Poland for organizing an international conference – a forum for the CEE region. Moreover, the geographical proximity of Ukraine allows for a greater presence of Ukrainian state and local political leaders, as well as the representatives of Ukrainian businesses.
Małopolska is among the regions spearheading Poland’s economic growth and is crucial in creating the country’s GDP. Due to its high business attractiveness and the location at the crossroads of international logistics routes, Małopolska attracts foreign investors. In the process of rebuilding Ukraine, it is Małopolska, together with the neighboring Podkarpackie Voivodeship, that will play a key role in terms of logistics, infrastructure, and providing necessary resources.
