President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda as a guest of honour of Krynica Forum 2023

President Andrzej Duda has announced a two-day presence at the Krynica Forum 2023. The President of the Republic of Poland will also invite other leaders from Central and Eastern Europe. The debate with the participation of the CEE leaders, on the future of Europe and the new security architecture will be the focal point of the Forum.

In January 2023, during the World Economic Forum in Davos, the President of the Republic of Poland opened two debates organized at the Polish House - discussions on the North Atlantic Alliance and energy sovereignty. These topics will also be discussed in Krynica-Zdrój. Krynica Forum 2023 is the only conference in Poland that provides direct connection with the initiative of the Polish House in Davos, which was a great success during the last World Economic Forum. Some of the discussions planned during Krynica Forum 2023 will be a continuation of threads started at the Polish House in Davos; others are a preview of what will happen there during next year's World Economic Forum.

In October 2022, during the previous edition of the Krynica Forum, the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda expressed hope that "in the coming years, the Krynica Forum will grow in terms of participants and its potential", stressing that this event "has its place in the political and economic calendar of the Republic of Poland”.
