Representatives of the leading actors in the Polish economic life on financial security

What sets the parameters of economic security for states and citizens? What are the dangers and the opportunities in the world which due to the pandemic and the war has seen a sea change in the span of several dozen months? What fields of economy are going to gain relevance? Which sectors are facing stagnation, and which are about to embark on a rapid expansion? The discussion on this topic is going to feature Leszek Skiba – President of Bank Pekao S.A., Marek Dietl – President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange, and Prof. Stanisław Mazur – Rector of the University of Economics in Kraków.

 

The debate ‘Financial security in the new geopolitical realities – determinants, opportunities, challenges’ under the auspices of Bank Pekao S.A. is slated for the main day of Krynica Forum 2023, on 14 September at 11 am. The discussion will serve to define new trends, chances, and threats that the state and participants of the economic life are facing.

The issues under discussion will include the state’s financial sovereignty and challenges ahead of the banking system and institutions that manage currency and state-owned economic assets.
